AUTISM AWARENESS

Light It Up Blue for World Autism Awareness Day.

For the past six years, Autism Speaks has spread the word by sharing information globally on April 2nd. According to the CDC, nearly one in 88 children has been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. Children usually begin to show symptoms sometime between their first and third birthday, but typically aren’t diagnosed until they’re four years old. Often times not reaching age appropriate developmental milestones are the first indicator. Check out this information about autism and spread the word.
